The house of Julius Caesar was very complicated and interesting. Julius Caears was born on July 12 100 bc. Ceasars parents are Gaius Caesar and Aurelia Cotta . Caesar was born to a patrician family. His family didn't have wealth or power. Although his father was a preator, which is an important position in the government. His mother was known for being the sister of Julia, the wife of Gauis Marius. Ceasar had two sisters named Julia Major and Julia minor.
Caesar was one of the world's greatest military leaders, he was the nephew of another famous Roman general, Marius by marriage.
The death of Marius forced Julius to become successful in his military and political career. Marius lead the Populares and opposed Sulla. After Julius Caesars father died when he was just fifteen he was mostly with the group Populares. Being almost an active member of the group Populares he ending up marrying his first wife Cornelia which was one of the members of the groups daughters and had their first child named Julia.
Unfortunately Cornelia died giving birth to Julia. A few years later Julius married Pompeia, which was a relationship for 6 years. for the third time Caesar married Calpurnia Pisonis and stayed married to her until he died. Although Julius was alway married to one of the three ladies, he had three affairs. One of the affairs was with Cleopatra,Queen OF Egypt. They had a son together named Caesarion. The second was with Servialla Caepoines, she was the mother of Brutus, who ends up killing Julius later in his life. The last woman was the queen of Mauritania.
